QMS & Tight Tolerances
A quality management system (QMS) is a formalized system that documents processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives. A QMS helps coordinate and direct an organization’s activities to meet customer and regulatory requirements and improve its effectiveness and efficiency on a continuous basis.
WWC has been committed to quality since its inception in 1947 and has demonstrated continual growth in our Quality Management System. WWC first became registered to the ISO 9001:2000 standard in 2002. WWC QMS follows ISO 9001:2015.
WWC has invested in a FARO / Polyworks software system to scan parts for 3D CAD drawing creation. 3D scans can be used for first article inspection and provide supplemental data in place of manual inspection. WWC can also reverse engineer parts for thermoforming or fixture tooling with this system.
