These featured products are thermoformed of black ABS. General purpose ABS in white or any other color than black is not typically suitable for outdoor applications because of its poor UV resistance; however the addition of carbon black to the polymer will usually absorb most UV radiation. ABS is available with a UV cap.

The shown items are all smaller, narrow draw applications. WWC's largest thermoforming equipment can accept a 7' x 11' sheet of material.

ABS is a low cost material that is easily thermoformed and works well for many applications including: aircraft interior trim, dunnage trays, tote bins and trays, automotive parts, luggage, laboratory equipment, OEM components, displays, bezels, machine covers and panels. The examples displayed include an outdoor sign component, mausoleum enclosure & mass transit seat component.
